Evaluation of the optimal sampling approach for HPV genotyping in circumcised heterosexual men with genital warts

First-void urine identified merely 15.8% of HPV types in circumcised men with genital warts, the lowest detection rate of six sampling methods. Combining wart biopsy with swabs from four genital anatomical sites achieved 98.9% detection, demonstrating that multi-site collection is necessary for accurate decentralised HPV screening in this population.
