A dried blood spot protocol for high throughput analysis of SARS-CoV-2 serology based on the Roche Elecsys anti-N assay
Beyerl et al.
The finding, in our words
Self-sampled dried blood spots showed 99.20% sensitivity and 98.65% specificity for SARS-CoV-2 serology compared with venous sampling, and 99.87% of unsupervised home DBS cards were analysable, supporting DBS as a valid tool for large scale serosurveys and surveillance in resource limited settings.
