Interaction between mental and cardiometabolic health in relation to telomere length among university staff in Australia

Among 126 Australian university staff, age was the primary correlate of telomere length. Burnout, sleep-related impairment, and mental quality of life moderated the association between fasting plasma glucose and telomere length, showing that combining wearable-measured sleep and autonomic data with blood biomarkers can reveal how mental and cardiometabolic health interact in occupational populations.
