<i>Trichomonas vaginalis</i> Detection in Female Specimens with cobas® TV/MG for use on the cobas® 6800/8800 Systems
Marlowe et al.
The finding, in our words
Evaluation of the cobas® TV/MG assay showed 100% sensitivity and at least 99.2% specificity for detecting Trichomonas vaginalis in urine and vaginal swabs. Self-collected vaginal swabs performed equivalently to clinician-collected samples, confirming the test supports decentralised, patient-centric STI screening.
