The finding, in our words
In a clinic cohort, the AmpliSens multiplex real-time PCR assay showed high sensitivity and excellent specificity for Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Trichomonas vaginalis, with excellent specificity but suboptimal sensitivity for Mycoplasma genitalium, supporting its use for screening from self‑collected first‑void urine.
