Association of Mycoplasma genitalium with infertility in North Indian women
Rajkumari et al.
The finding, in our words
The study found Mycoplasma genitalium in 16% of infertile women versus none in fertile controls, using first-void urine and other specimens. Detection in first-void urine supports decentralised screening for this STI in infertility assessment, particularly as most cases were asymptomatic and associated with tubal pathology.
