The effect of morning vs evening exercise training on glycaemic control and serum metabolites in overweight/obese men: a randomised trial

In overweight/obese men on a high-fat diet, five days of evening exercise training lowered nocturnal glucose compared with the high-fat diet alone and partially reversed diet induced changes in serum metabolites, whereas morning exercise did not show these glycaemic or metabolomic benefits.
